St Peter's Church, IsraelICCP - Filler Joists
The church and monastery were constructed on the headland in Old Jaffa by the Spanish between 1888 and 1894 and approximately 270 steel filler joists were supporting the floors and ceilings at four levels. The embedded ends of some of the steel filler joists had suffered from corrosion where they have been in direct contact with the damp chloride containing masonry. In order to mitigate the ongoing corrosion, an ICCP system was designed and commissioned in 2007.
